Green Products – Artline Eco Products
Shachihata’s Artline focus is to use recycled or ecologically renewable materials wherever possible and numerous items throughout all Shachihata lines qualify as ECO products (products which contain more than 50% recycled content). To minimize waste Shachihata strives to create high quality products that long-lasting, refillable and offer replacement parts.
The water used in production is processed to filter and remove all of the debris and salt before being discharged. All of the solvents used for cleaning ink tanks are distilled and reused. Additionally, all scrap materials, such as plastic, are reused in production.
Artline Pens and Stamps
In 1999, Shachihata obtained ISO 9001 Quality Assurance System Certification for its marking pens and stamps and in 2000 was also awarded the ISO 14001 Certification for its environmental management system.
